Close the notify socket even when sending fails notifyImpl acquired an AF_UNIX datagram socket and only closed it on the success path, so any exception from sendTo (or an async exception delivered mid-send) leaked the descriptor. A long-running daemon pinging the watchdog on a loop would accumulate leaked descriptors until socket() itself failed with EMFILE (Too many open files). Wrap the socket in bracket so it is always closed.
